Guest Speakers: David Lippiatt of WE International & Jan Miyasaki of Project Respect, Madison, WI

David is the co-Founder, President, and CEO of WE International. He is a multi invitational speaker at the United Nations. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with degrees in Philosophy and International Relations, and has a certificate in Foreign Policy from Oxford University and is currently enrolled in the in Notre Dame University Executive Leadership Program. His faith, heart of compassion and desire for justice is the driving force behind what causes him to respond to the overwhelming amount of global poverty and injustice issues affecting women, children and men in less developed countries.
Jan is the Director of Project Respect, a Dane County, Wisconsin-based social service agency that provides services to adults and juveniles victimized in sex trafficking and prostitution. She holds a J.D. from Marquette University Law School and is an ad hoc faculty member in Ethnic Studies at the U.W. Madison. Miyasaki has led the discussion in Wisconsin to promote an understanding of issues faced by sexually exploited adults and juveniles.
